Yes. The architecture supports different buyer and seller journeys through selected marketplace capabilities. B2B marketplaces may also require account pricing, quotes, purchasing approvals and credit or invoice workflows.
An ordinary store typically controls the assortment and sale as one merchant. A multi-seller marketplace must also coordinate seller participation, separate offers, commissions and responsibility for delivery and service.
The architecture connects to selected payment and marketplace providers. Payment processing, custody and settlement responsibilities depend on those providers and the agreed operating model; they should not be assumed to be native services of Universal Commerce.
AI can assist with attribute completion, content classification and product matching using approved source data. Validation and seller or operator review help prevent incorrect claims or mismatched offers from reaching buyers.
